Enhance sexual health in London, ON as a Public Health Nurse. This full-time role involves direct client care, education, and support for complex cases in a nurse-led clinic.
The Middlesex-London Health Unit is looking for a skilled Public Health Nurse focused on sexual health. You'll provide direct client care, conduct assessments, and advocate for individuals. Experience in harm reduction and community-based health promotion is essential for effectively supporting diverse populations with complex needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide nursing assessment and direct client care
• Coordinate care for individuals and families with complex health needs
• Deliver sexual health education at health fairs
• Manage STI clinic operations and client interactions
• Maintain health records and prepare reports using EMR
Requirements:
• Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing (BScN) from an accredited program
• Current Ontario nursing license (CNO certification)
• Strong communication and technical documentation skills
• Knowledge of sexual health and harm reduction practices
• Flexible availability, including evenings
