Temporary Registered Nurse

Position: Temporary Full-Time Registered Nurse Role
Humber River Health invites applications for a temporary full-time Registered Nurse position in its Nursing Resources Team. This role involves a variety of shift patterns and critical patient care functions.

This position requires the selected RN to work across Medical and Surgical Inpatient Units. You are expected to have a current RN registration and recent experience in relevant healthcare settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for interacting with patients and families from diverse backgrounds.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out nursing responsibilities across various units

• Adapt to rotating shifts, including nights and weekends

• Communicate effectively with diverse patient populations

• Conduct detailed physical assessments for patient evaluations

• Facilitate patient and family education and support

Requirements:

• Valid RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Recent experience in Medical and/or Surgical care

• BCLS certification or equivalent competency

• Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills

• Understanding of equity, diversity, and inclusion in health
