Assistant Director of Wellness in Ontario

Join Schlegel Villages as the Assistant Director of Wellness – Retirement in London, Ontario. Lead clinical programs and ensure quality care in a supportive environment.

In this leadership role, you will oversee clinical services for Retirement, support nursing departments, and track program trends. Your responsibilities will include managing quality improvement initiatives and stepping in as Wellness Coordinator when needed. You will champion a resident-centered culture and promote high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead assigned clinical programs and monitor quality

• Oversee nursing and clinical departments in the absence of coordinator

• Manage resident admission assessments and service plans

• Conduct data analysis to improve clinical services

• Foster a supportive environment for residents and staff

Requirements:

• Valid RPN license in good standing with CNO

• Experience in geriatric and nursing leadership is preferred

• Strong commitment to resident-centered care

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Proven ability in quality improvement practices
