Become a Registered Practical Nurse with Age Care, providing vital nursing care in a compassionate environment. Collaborate with healthcare teams to enhance residents' well-being and support their daily needs.
In this position, you will deliver professional nursing care in alignment with Age Care’s policies and procedures. This role involves liaising with physicians and guiding Personal Support Workers while encompassing geriatric and long-term care practices. Your efforts directly impact the residents' quality of life and care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement Age Care policies and collaborate with Registered Nurse
• Liaise with physicians and healthcare partners
• Direct Personal Support Workers in care tasks
• Participate in shift reports regarding resident status
• Support residents in their daily living requirements
Requirements:
• Current Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of long-term care regulations
• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitation nursing
• Strong commitment to resident care and teamwork
• Capacity to adapt to changing resident needs
