Temporary Registered Nurse in Cardiac Care

As a Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care within the Cardiac Intervention Unit, requiring a minimum of one year critical care or equivalent experience. Candidates should exhibit proficiency in arrhythmia interpretations, use of intra-aortic balloon pumps, and have a background in cardiovascular physiology and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer direct nursing care for assigned cardiology patients

• Communicate changes in status to healthcare teams promptly

• Engage in patient education and advocacy

• Keep current with professional standards and best practices

• Participate in unit orientation and training

Requirements:

• Must be registered with the Ontario College of Nurses

• Preferred Critical Care Certificate

• Minimum of one year critical care experience required
