Director of Nursing and Personal Care

This full-time role requires a Registered Nurse with significant experience in long-term care, focusing on clinical excellence and regulatory compliance. You will oversee nursing teams, manage recruitment, and ensure quality improvement initiatives are implemented effectively. Collaborate with a variety of stakeholders including regulatory agencies and family councils to enhance care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead nursing clinical programs and manage staff effectively

• Create and oversee resident care plans

• Ensure compliance with legislative requirements

• Recruit and manage nursing staff’s performance

• Oversee clinical quality and infection control programs

Requirements:

• Active RN registration with College of Nurses of Ontario

• Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical experience

• Understanding of Ontario long-term care regulations

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Pass a vulnerable sector police check
