Deliver exceptional care at Age Care as a Registered Practical Nurse. Work collaboratively to ensure residents receive the best possible health management.
The Registered Practical Nurse role at Age Care is critical in delivering professional nursing care to residents while directing Personal Support Workers. You will collaborate with healthcare teams to implement policies and procedures that meet residents' needs. Your expertise will help you serve effectively, especially during significant health changes in residents, and your input will affect the improvement of care procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement nursing procedures as defined by Age Care
• Communicate significant changes to the physician promptly
• Oversee Personal Support Workers' duties and responsibilities
• Contribute insights during team shift reports
• Aid in the revision of care policies and procedures
Requirements:
• Experience in long-term, geriatric, or rehabilitation nursing
• A current Certificate of Competence with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Knowledge of health care regulatory standards
• Administrative and personnel management skills
• Effective communication within the healthcare team
