Position: University of Waterloo Temporary Registered Nurse

As part of a multidisciplinary team, the Temporary Registered Nurse will provide essential health services to students at the University of Waterloo. This position involves clinical care, mental health support, and health education efforts within a collaborative environment. Through independent nursing practices, you will address diverse health issues while participating in crisis interventions and public health initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver competent nursing care in line with regulatory standards

• Conduct mental health assessments and emergency triage

• Educate students on health promotion strategies

• Manage immunizations and family health services

• Collaborate across clinical roles to ensure effective care delivery

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

• Minimum 3 years in patient care across various settings

• Current CPR or BCLS certification required

• Experience with crisis intervention and public health scenarios

• Effective organization and teamwork abilities
