In this critical role, you will be responsible for offering nursing care that adheres to established standards. A minimum of two years of acute care experience is required, along with a Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario. Candidates should also have a willingness to obtain A.C.L.S. certification and undergo triage training as applicable.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide effective nursing care in the Outpatient Emergency setting
• Document patient assessments and care accurately
• Collaborate with staff to ensure patient-centered care
• Maintain excellent communication with patients and families
• Perform triage duties as required
Requirements:
• Valid Certificate of Competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Two years of experience in an acute care environment
• Willingness to acquire A.C.L.S. certification
• Solid understanding of Nursing Process and Standards
• Previous Emergency Department experience is a plus
