Provide exceptional nursing care as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Penn Highlands Healthcare. Focus on patient education and collaboration with healthcare teams for optimal outcomes.
This position requires a valid Pennsylvania Practical Nursing licensure with preferred Med/Surg experience of at least two years. You will be responsible for offering quality nursing care and facilitating family education in a supportive clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure total nursing care for every patient
• Engage and educate patients and families effectively
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Adhere to professional nursing standards
• Assess and document patient care and responses
Requirements:
• Current Pennsylvania Practical Nursing license
• Preferably 2 years Med/Surg experience
• Basic Life Support certification on hire
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale knowledge preferred
