• -Current Certificate of Competence as a Registered Nurse with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
• -BScN preferred.
• -Current BCLS certification.
• -Minimum 3 years emergency & critical care experience.
• -Minimum 1 year paediatric experience preferred
• -Canadian Triage and Acuity Scale Education.
• -IV certification.
• -Certification in delegated medical acts and added nursing skills in Emergency/ICU desired
• -Cardiac module of Critical Care Course or equivalent required, within past five (5) years.
• -Certification in ACLS required.
• -Certification in PALS preferred.
• -Certification in TNCC (Trauma Nursing Care Course) preferred.
• -Health teaching skills that demonstrate a broad knowledge of Adult and Paediatric Care.
• -Demonstrated problem solving skills, communication skills and critical thinking skills.
