Position: Tendercare Living Centre ADOC Position
Shape the future of care in your community as the Assistant Director of Care at Tendercare Living Centre in Scarborough. This full-time role focuses on leadership and resident advocacy.

As the Assistant Director, you will directly assist the Director of Care in implementing Extendicare's high-quality standards across clinical areas. Your leadership will play a vital role in balancing compliance and excellence while advocating for residents’ needs and satisfaction. Collaborate with care teams and engage with families to foster a healthy living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee management of care programs according to organizational standards

• Identify risks and apply mitigation strategies effectively

• Ensure adherence to licensing and accreditation requirements

• Collaborate actively with interdisciplinary teams

• Lead initiatives for quality improvement

Requirements:

• Minimum of three years in long-term care as a Registered Nurse

• Experience in a supervisory role preferred

• Valid registration with the provincial nursing body

• Familiarity with EHR systems, including Point Click Care

• Demonstrated leadership and communication abilities
