Experienced Registered Practical Nurse Position

Enhance the quality of life for residents as a Registered Practical Nurse us on patient-oriented nursing care while working with an inter-professional team.

As a part-time Registered Practical Nurse, you will report directly to the Director of Care.

Your role involves clinical assessments, implementing care plans, and providing direct medication administration. Close collaboration with the healthcare team ensures efficient service delivery and improved resident well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work within an inter-professional team for patient-centered care

• Complete and update resident care assessments and documentation

• Implement and evaluate care/service plans effectively

• Administer medications and treatments in compliance with regulations

• Facilitate resident/family education to enhance understanding

Requirements:

• Current registration as a Registered Practical Nurse

• Experience in gerontology or long-term care environments

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills

• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
