Director of Care in Goderich

Lead nursing excellence at Southbridge Goderich as Director of Care. This full-time role focuses on resident-centered care, clinical leadership, and compliance with long-term care regulations.

As the Director of Care, you will oversee all clinical programs and nursing services in our Goderich home. You'll direct staffing needs, create care plans, and ensure adherence to the Fixing Long-Term Care Act, 2021. Your leadership will enhance quality improvement initiatives and foster relationships with residents, families, and community partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage clinical programs and nursing staff effectively

• Develop and implement resident care plans

• Ensure compliance with long-term care legislation

• Recruit, schedule, and supervise nursing personnel

• Lead quality improvements in clinical practices

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the CNO

• Minimum 5 years’ clinical experience in long-term care

• Knowledge of Ontario long-term care regulations

• Current BLS/CPR certification

• Police reference check
