Operational Stress Injury RN Position

Take on the role of Registered Nurse at the Operational Stress Injury Clinic in London, Ontario, with Parkwood Institute. This part-time position focuses on delivering quality care to veterans.

In this role within the Veterans Care Program, you will provide essential outpatient services to veterans dealing with the psychological effects of their service. A strong understanding of mental health, particularly in treating PTSD and related disorders, alongside the ability to engage with families, is crucial. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team and collaborate with various healthcare and community organizations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess and treat veterans' mental health conditions

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and community healthcare teams

• Maintain accurate patient care documentation

Requirements:

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario

• Direct experience in mental health or outpatient settings

• Valid CPR certification required
