Position: Travel Nurse for Northern Communities

Bayshore Health Care is inviting nurses to join its Northern Staffing Program. In this short-term assignment, you will provide essential health services to residents of remote communities, ensuring comprehensive primary and emergency care. With a strong emphasis on health promotion, planning, and communication, your skills will significantly impact the lives of clients in various communities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver primary and emergency nursing care to diverse age groups

• Conduct assessments and implement best practice guidelines

• Create and follow individualized care plans

• Ensure clients’ emotional and physical comfort

• Collaborate in a team-oriented health center environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent

• Active nursing license registered in good standing

• 3,000 hours in acute care or remote community nursing

• Willingness to obtain provincial nursing licensure

• Additional training requirements based on interview
