The Middlesex-London Health Unit seeks one part-time Registered Practical Nurse to support the Healthy Babies Healthy Children team in London, Ontario. This role involves conducting health screenings and providing resources on breastfeeding and postpartum health. Collaboration with hospital staff and confidentiality in client care are essential elements of this position.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct screening and assessment of health care needs
• Utilize evidence-informed practices for client resources
• Familiarize with HBHC Program Protocol and Guidance
• Collaborate with hospital staff for referrals
• Maintain confidentiality in client information
Requirements:
• RPN diploma from an accredited program
• Current CNO certificate of competence
• Flexible daytime availability, including weekends
• Valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License
• Recent experience in postpartum and maternal child health
