As an experienced Perioperative Registered Nurse, you will deliver safe, high-quality patient care within the surgical suite. The work involves patient assessment, perioperative support, surgical preparation, vital-sign monitoring, and multidisciplinary collaboration. You will support patients before, during, and immediately following procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate operating room patient care
- Assist surgeons and anesthesiologists as scrub or circulating nurse
- Prepare, sterilize, and account for surgical instruments and supplies
- Monitor vital signs and respond to patient status changes
- Maintain confidential records and support patient communication
- Current Registered Nurse registration with the applicable regulatory body
- Recognized Perioperative certification program successfully completed
- Recent clinical experience within an Operating Room environment
- Commitment to patient-centred care and professional practice
- Ability to work within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
