Licensed Practical Nurses can supervise resident care at Seasons in High River, Alberta, using nursing processes and strong leadership skills. This casual frontline role supports safe, secure care services.
The Health & Wellness Manager provides supervision, mentoring, education, and direction to care staff and other team members. The role assesses residents, establishes priorities, maintains service plans, and follows Alberta Health Services regulations. Medication administration and monthly care audits support resident safety and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide high quality nursing care using the nursing process
- Supervise, mentor, educate, and guide care staff
- Assess residents entering Seasons and during community transitions
- Establish priorities based on individual resident needs
- Administer medications and complete monthly care related audits
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse registration in good standing with CLPNA
- Strong leadership and supervisory skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Preparedness to respond to emergency situations
