Part Time Registered Practical Nurse

Deliver medical nursing care as a part-time Registered Practical Nurse at Strathroy Middlesex General Hospital, using IV and wound management skills. All shifts, weekends, and holiday rotations apply.

Middlesex Hospital Alliance seeks a Registered Practical Nurse for the One South Medical Department. The position is available immediately and supports practice within the full Ontario scope. Key qualifications include PICC line management, Electronic Health Record documentation, Cerner proficiency, and BLS-HCP certification.

• Practice nursing within the full scope permitted in Ontario
• Manage wounds and PICC lines in medical nursing
• Initiate, assess, and document intravenous therapy
• Apply medical directives and delegated medical acts
• Provide patient and family centered care collaboratively

• Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Current BLS-HCP certification
• Previous medical nursing experience preferred
• Knowledge of CNO documentation standards and Electronic Health Records
• Proficiency with Windows and Cerner environments
