What to ExpectTo lead and oversee quality assurance operations at the site level, ensuring compliance with NCI’s Nestlé Management System (NMS), ISO standards, and corporate policies related to food safety, quality, environmental sustainability, and occupational health.
Role Requirements- Lead, support and motivate the team in the achievement of their objectives.
- Contribute to the development of competence of quality professionals.
- Promote quality awareness and commitment to quality across the factory.
- Promote digital and AI tools within the team to automate and streamline tasks.
- Ensure site-level quality systems align with NMS and ISO standards.
- Conduct risk assessments, manage non-conformances, and ensure corrective actions.
- Lead internal audits and participate in management reviews.
- Lead and support external audits with QA manager.
- Maintain documented information per NMS standards.
- Address & approve consumer complaints and feedback professionally.
- Define and update the specific quality procedures, instructions and tools in the area of technical expertise.
- Contribute to define and follow up on quality KPIs.
- Set operational objectives in collaboration with the Factory Quality Manager.
- Own and maintain the HACCP and Quality Management System (QMS) programmes, ensuring they are effectively implemented, regularly reviewed, and fully compliant with Nestlé and regulatory standards.
- Compliance with Nestle Standards including NQAC requirements for Lab Analytical and Safety Practices.
- Release of finished products (back up).
- Promote and lead projects for the cost effectiveness of the Laboratory.
- Support Nestlé Continuous Excellence program in the quest for zero defect.
- Support activities to achieve compliance with the Nestlé Quality Management System requirements and other applicable instructions and standards.
- Support Factory OMP and Local Committee(s) to lead project(s), lead Pillar System(s), train and coach people, and ultimately contribute to Factory Goals.
- Support unit readiness for internal and external audits.
- Perform trouble shooting and corrective action follow-up of non-conformities.
- University graduate (preferred food science, food safety, microbiology or chemistry).
- Working experience in the field of food quality and food safety.
- Exposure to customers, suppliers, internal teams, business projects, cost savings (e.g. Mission, Special Projects etc).
