Raytheon Waterloo is seeking a Configuration Management/Data management Specialist to be part of the team supporting legacy and Next Generation Airport Traffic Control (ATC) programs. As part of the Configuration Management/Data Management (CM/DM) team, you will complete activities related to configuration identification, change management, status accounting, and audits across the product lifecycle – from development to production. Your work will ensure product traceability, data integrity and compliance with CM, Quality Assurance and contractual standards/requirements.
Responsibilities- Support the core CM processes throughout product lifecycle phases, including development and production.
- Lead the change management activities for assigned programs:
- Participate in Investigation Request Boards (IRBs).
- Contribute to change assessment meetings and assist with Engineering Change Order (ECO) solution development.
- Organize and facilitate the Configuration Control Board (CCB) meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and documenting outcomes.
- Perform configuration status accounting tasks using CMStat PDM system to maintain accurate product configuration information and traceability.
- Conduct CM audits on product structures prior to program closure.
- Ensure accuracy and control of documentation in the Raytheon Waterloo vaulting repository by ensuring that master documentation reflect the current change status records.
- Collaborate with the Program Office to meet program CM requirements and deliverables.
- Ensure adherence to CM standards, policies and procedures.
- Maintain and update CM processes, procedures and work instructions to reflect current business requirements.
- Support the development of specific program CM deliverable as required.
- Support internal and external audits as needed.
- Track and report CM metrics while adhering to project schedules.
- Post-secondary education in a technical discipline or equivalent in related work experience in Configuration Management.
- Five or more years of Configuration and/or Data Management experience in an aerospace, defense or similar industry.
- Strong understanding and application of CM principles, concepts and practices, including ANSI EIA
649 standards. - Proficiency with Product Data Management tools such as CMStat, Windchill or Teamcenter.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, technical schematics and procedural documentation.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills.
There is a requirement to work onsite at our facility in Waterloo, Ontario.
The successful candidate will be required to complete a criminal background check and obtain/maintain a Government of Canada security clearance and any applicable clearances with respect to the handling and transfer of controlled goods.

Salary range for this role is 65,000 CAD – 107,800 CAD. An estimated range representing all experience levels.
