Electrical ICI Health & Safety Advisor Position

Black & McDonald Limited is hiring an Electrical ICI Health & Safety Advisor to enhance workplace safety on afternoon shifts. Evaluate hazards and ensure compliance across job sites.

As part of our proactive safety approach, you will conduct thorough audits and inspections while coaching site supervisors on best practices. This role requires 3-5 years of relevant HSE experience and a firm understanding of industry safety standards, including ESA Code and TSSA Standards, ensuring employees' well-being on electrical projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct environmental audits for construction operations

• Assess worksite safety and compliance with legislation

• Develop and maintain safety program inventories

• Engage in training sessions for employee safety education

• Review and resolve safety-related issues with supervisors

Requirements:

• 3-5 years experience in HSE field

• Relevant degree or diploma in Health & Safety

• Knowledge of provincial and federal HSE regulations

• Excellent communication and safety reporting skills

• Certificate of Qualification as Journeyman Electrician is an asset
