Elevate safety standards with GTel as a Coordinator for Health, Safety & Environment in London ON. You will play a key role in safety performance and compliance for over 850 employees.
This full-time on-site position supports various field operations aimed at damage prevention and energy services in Ontario and Alberta. As an HSE professional, your responsibilities will encompass injury prevention initiatives, regulatory compliance, and COR® certification support. Ideal candidates are passionate about safety and thrive in operational settings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive injury prevention through workplace inspections and training
• Support COR® certification efforts and manage documentation
• Create Return-to-Work plans for employee claims
• Lead training events and compliance audits for new hires
• Track safety leadership performance and recognition
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in Occupational Health & Safety
• 2-3 years of HSE experience in construction or utilities
• Familiarity with Ontario and Alberta safety legislation
• Knowledge of COR® programs and safety audits is a plus
• Strong communication and organizational skills
