Location: Southwestern Ontario
Enhance automotive quality standards as a Quality Engineer with Mitchell Plastics. Ensure customer satisfaction and product excellence in this full-time, permanent role.
Mitchell Plastics, a leading automotive parts supplier, seeks a qualified Quality Engineer with a background in quality management. In this role, you will engage in APQP processes and ensure compliance with customer requirements. With over three years of automotive experience required, you will lead efforts in problem-solving, data analysis, and training for continuous improvement in quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Ensure customer satisfaction related to quality items
• Participate in APQP and recommend KPCs, KCCs
• Prepare PPAP submissions and analyze warranty issues
• Conduct Gauge Accuracy and SPC studies
• Train operators on in-process inspections
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant discipline
• Minimum two years in a quality position
• At least three years automotive experience
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
