Position: Quality Assurance Specialist at Equitable
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join Equitable as an Intermediate Technology Specialist, specializing in Quality Assurance. This hybrid position emphasizes collaboration and technical expertise in testing at our Waterloo, ON office.

In the role, you will work closely with agile teams, contributing your knowledge in test planning and execution. Your main focus will be ensuring applications in the Individual Wealth sector meet coding standards. Leverage your skills to foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement while working within a framework of professional development and teamwork.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks

• Lead comprehensive testing efforts including system integration

• Analyze test results and assist in defect resolution

• Communicate effectively with team members regarding testing

• Support production ticket resolutions to meet partner requirements

Requirements:

• Degree in computer science or equivalent

• Minimum 3-5 years in software testing

• At least 2 years in automation testing

• Proficient with Microsoft Azure Dev Ops

• Understanding of CI/CD processes
