Join WSP's dynamic team as a Junior Asphalt Laboratory Technician in London, Ontario. This role focuses on quality assurance and technical expertise in asphalt testing for transportation projects.
You will support the Construction Services, Materials Engineering laboratory group by conducting asphalt materials testing and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Collaboration with experienced professionals offers a unique opportunity to develop valuable skills while working on significant infrastructure initiatives across Ontario.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform asphalt tests adhering to specified standards
• Support accurate test data generation for projects
• Assist in lab maintenance and safety protocols
• Identify non-conformances to improve quality management
• Handle materials from receipt through disposal
Requirements:
• Educational background in Civil Engineering Technology
• 1 to 3 years of CCIL-certified testing experience
• Current or pursuing CCIL Type B Certification
• Knowledge of lab testing protocols and standards
• Strong organizational skills in a fast-paced setting
