Indigenous AI Research Associate Position

As a pivotal member of the Abundant Intelligences Project, you'll shape research questions, develop AI tools, and engage with diverse community initiatives. Your contributions will help establish a robust framework for Indigenous research and relationship-building.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop AI and machine-learning research projects

• Support Indigenous language revitalization and tools

• Contribute to relational digital archives design

• Prepare and organize data for various projects

• Lead interdisciplinary research initiatives

Requirements:

• Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field

• 2 years of relevant technical research experience

• Expertise in coding languages like Python

• Familiarity with AI/LLM research and design

• Strong communication and collaboration skills
