MaintainSelf Checkout Area Standards
Maintains a clean, safe, and organized self checkout area, ensuring it remains free of fixtures, unnecessary debris, foreign objects, and spills.
Promote Walmart Programs and InitiativesSupports the promotion of company sponsored programs, including credit card services, product protection plans, and charitable initiatives, when applicable.
Support Customers at Self CheckoutHelps customers use self checkout quickly and confidently by offering assistance when needed, monitoring activity, and completing required checks. Clearly explain any interventions in a friendly, reassuring way and elevate cash or technical issues to the Customer Service Manager.
Respond to EAS Alerts and Complete DocumentationResponds to EAS alarms in accordance with procedures and accurately completes the “Failure to Deactivate” log.
Manage Scan & Go EquipmentEnsures Scan & Go scanners are returned to their designated storage locations after use.
Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule)Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runs smoothly and customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

Physical DemandsPerforms physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting inventory, equipment, or supplies weighing up to 20 lbs., and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
