Position: IT Security Services Coordinator Needed
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Elevate IT security with the Lambton Kent District School Board as the Coordinator of IT Security Services. This permanent role demands expertise in security management and oversight within a dynamic educational environment.

Reporting to the Supervisor of IT Security Services, this critical role focuses on protecting the integrity and confidentiality of the Board's IT systems and data. You will conduct administrative investigations, implement security best practices, and ensure compliance with Board policies and regulations. Essential skills include monitoring threat landscapes, recommending mitigation strategies, and enhancing organizational security awareness through training.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct security investigations aligned with Board policies

• Monitor evolving IT security threats and propose solutions

• Embed security in system design and procurement processes

• Develop policies and procedures for security operations

• Provide training to staff on security awareness

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer studies or related field

• CISSP certification preferred

• Minimum four years in enterprise IT security

• Experience with SIEM and XDR platforms

• Excellent communication and analytical abilities
