Job Overview
:
Allied Universal seeks a mobile security professional with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and a background in corporate security to conduct patrols and ensure safety.

Qualifications
:

• Familiarity with access control systems and alarm monitoring.
• Experience with report writing and note taking.
• Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
• Valid security guard license in Alberta.
• Eligibility to work in Canada up to 40 hours per week.
• Clear driver’s abstract and G license.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Minimum age 25 years.
• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.

Specific Duties and Essential Functions
:

• Conduct mobile patrols of designated areas, including parking lots, premises, and other high‑traffic zones.
• Monitor surveillance systems and alarms, responding promptly to breaches or suspicious activity.
• Perform security checks of buildings, doors, windows, and access points to ensure compliance.
• Assist clients, visitors, and employees, providing directions and enforcing policies.
• Report incidents, accidents, or hazards immediately to supervisors or authorities.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and emergency responders during incidents.
• Maintain accurate logs and records of patrol activities and incidents.
• Inspect security equipment, vehicles, and emergency supplies, reporting any deficiencies.
• Conduct risk assessments and security audits of client premises.
• Participate in training sessions and professional development opportunities.
