OverviewAllied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in London, ON to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, able to work night shifts, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.
Requirements- Familiarity with access control systems and alarm systems.
- Experience with report writing and note-taking.
- Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.
- Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
- A valid driver's licence is considered an asset.
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada for 40 hours per week.
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
- Provide access control for the facility and designated areas.
- Maintain a polished, professional, and customer-friendly image at all times.
- Manage conflicts and incidents effectively and de-escalate situations when necessary.
- Conduct patrols and follow site protocols as outlined in the post orders, including indoor and outdoor patrols and managing the movement of guests throughout the property.
- Ensure that the facility's safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site emergencies.
- Complete all site-specific training and follow the direction and guidance of the Site Supervisor or Manager.
- Demonstrate sound judgment, common sense, and decision-making abilities, particularly when required to take charge and direct others during emergencies or incidents.
- Maintain meticulous records and reports, utilizing strong observation, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Operate and monitor security room equipment and complete all required site training.
