Militex Coatings is an industrial manufacturing facility specializing in protective coatings. The site includes production areas, equipment storage, and operational spaces requiring perimeter patrols and access control. Security personnel help maintain a safe working environment, prevent unauthorized access, and support loss prevention initiatives.

  Friday and Saturday (23:00 - 07:00)
• Overtime Method:
  Averaging Agreement – calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly

• Respond to and report all incidents of criminal activity, suspicious activity, and hazardous situations.
• Unlock and lock doors and offices.
• Provide access control.
• Maintain a uniform security presence within various locations and customer service areas.
• Monitor CCTV systems and respond as required.
• Ensure the buildings are secured after hours.
• Complete directed patrols of all required areas.
• Watch for and report irregularities by completing investigations and incident reports, such as security breaches, facility and safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency responders (police, fire, ambulance) as required.
• Sustain effective relationships with key stakeholders and provide specialized security services by enforcing rules and regulations when required.
• Write detailed incident reports for all emergencies and day-to-day activities.
• Log in/out of two-way radio.
  
  Report any unsafe working conditions in any department.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• Must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Ability to work alone or in a team.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or related field preferred.
• Strong physical fitness and ability to stand or walk for long periods.
• Certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behaviour (MOAB).
• Candidates without these certifications may complete Paladin’s unpaid UOF/MOAB program before onboarding.

College/University Education

First Aid, CPR Level C

Valid Ontario Security License
