Temporary Team Lead Security Role

Take on a Temporary Part Time Team Lead position within Huron College's security team. Engage students and enforce policies effectively from Thursday to Saturday nights to ensure campus safety.

This critical role encompasses overseeing security personnel and promoting positive interactions with students and staff. You’ll handle incident reports, check student identification, and implement safety measures according to campus guidelines. Leadership and communication are key skills necessary for this job's success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise residence check-in guards during shifts

• Maintain confidentiality while assisting students

• Check student IDs and enforce entry regulations

• Report security breaches and safety hazards

• Train new team members effectively

Requirements:

• Security License valid for Ontario is essential

• 6 months to 1 year in a supervisory position

• First Aid & CPR - Level C Certification required

• Strong customer service orientation

• Must be authorized to work legally in Canada
