Position: Temporary Part Time Team Lead
Site: Huron College
Site Address: 1349 Western Road, London, ON N6G 1H3
Hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday (8 PM to 3 AM)
Union Status: Non-union
Overtime Method: Averaging Agreement – calculating after 88 hours bi-weekly

Key Responsibilities- Work on assigned shifts, oversee the residence check-in guards, and act as a liaison between guards and other contacts.
- Maintain confidentiality while interacting with students, staff, and members of the public to provide directions and promote good customer service while maintaining a security presence.
- Implement security measures to protect property, control access to sites, and ensure client rules and regulations are followed.
- Check in each student – confirm that they are in residence with .
- Watch for and report irregularities by completing incident reports such as security breaches, facility safety hazards, and emergency situations; contact emergency services such as police, fire and ambulance personnel as required.
- Enforce compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Train other staff members when necessary.
- Be prepared to administer First Aid when required.
- Maintain a positive, productive work environment.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
- Valid Security License for the province of Ontario.
- Valid First Aid & CPR
- Level C (from a WSIB-approved vendor). - Authorized to legally work in Canada.
- English (oral and written) fluency is a must.
- 6 months to 1 year experience as a Team Lead or Supervisor is a must.
- Must possess excellent customer service skills.
- Must be able to provide certifications in Use of Force (UOF) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB).
- Applicants lacking these certifications can opt into Paladin's UoF/MOAB training program prior to onboarding to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
- Applicants will be required to pay for the UoF/MOAB training as it is a prerequisite; however, Paladin will cover all training costs with a 6‑month commitment to the position/availability.

College/University Education
Certification Requirements (All)- First Aid and CPR
- Level C Certification. - Valid Ontario Security Guard Licence.
