Chainguard is seeking a technical leader for its vulnerability management initiatives. You will play an essential role in handling thousands of vulnerabilities, advising on response processes, and collaborating with key industry partners. Key Responsibilities:
• Own weekly measurement and reporting of vulnerabilities
• Adjust response plans based on emerging trends
• Report vulnerabilities to relevant upstream projects
• Oversee the assignment of CVEs as a CNA
• Coordinate embargoes with customers and teams
Requirements:
• 7+ years in vulnerability disclosure or software security
• Strong grasp of responsible disclosure practices
• Expertise in automating security processes for scale
• Extensive experience with open source communities
• Background in working with industry standards groups
