Community Centre Security Professional

Become a Security Professional with Allied Universal in London, Ontario. This part-time position is essential for maintaining safety at a community center through vigilant monitoring and customer engagement.

In this role, you will be responsible for patrolling the facility, managing access control, and taking charge during emergency situations. Strong communication skills and the ability to write reports are critical components of this job. You will work part-time hours, mainly afternoons and evenings, while interacting with community members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol facility to detect illegal activities and maintain safety

• Document shift happenings in daily reports

• Conduct regular checks with City of London Security dispatch

• Ensure compliance with emergency protocols

• Engage professionally with visitors and staff

Requirements:

• Ontario security guard license required

• Experience in security roles preferred

• First Aid and CPR training necessary

• Must be eligible for 40 hours work weekly

• High school diploma or equivalent is mandatory
