Shifts  :
Mondays - Fridays; (Afternoons/evenings. Shifts vary depending on client need, between )

Overview:

Allied Universal is currently hiring Security Professionals in  London, ON  to provide professional, front-line security services. This role is ideal for individuals with strong customer service skills, a professional demeanor, and willing to work with a dynamic team.

Requirement:

Familiarity with access control systems and alarm .

Experience with report writing and note-taking.

Knowledge of CCTV monitoring systems.

Valid  Ontario security guard license

Drivers License is considered an an asset.

Must be eligible to work in Canada  for 40 hours per week.

First Aid and CPR

Must be at least 18 years old.

High school diploma or equivalent/GED or equivalent work experience

Specific Duties Performed and Essential Functions :

Patrol interior and exterior of facility, looking for signs of illegal / criminal activity, vagrancy, theft, property damage.

Conduct regular communication checks with City of London Security dispatch.

Access control for the facility/area

Document shift activities in Daily Activity Report; complete incident reports with AUS mobile team.

Perform duties as requested by site staff and AUS management.

Complete OJT, and ongoing site training as required by Client and AUS.

Present a polished, professional, customer friendly image at all times

Ability to manage conflicts and incidents and to deescalate

Patrolling and following protocols as perthe post orders, which may include indoor or outdoor patrols,manage the movement of guests at various points throughout the property etc.

Ensure that the facility’s safety and emergency procedures are followed in response to fire alarms and other site Emergencies

Undertake site specific training, follow direction and guidance from Site Supervisor or Manager

Demonstrate good judgment, common sense and decision-making ability, particularly when required to take charge and direct others in emergencies or other incidents

Meticulous record keeping, report writing, observation skills excellent verbal and written communication skills

Operate/monitor security room equipment, Completion of site required training
