Maintenance Technician

Overview

Larlyn Property Management is looking for an experienced Handyman Maintenance Technician to support our Southwestern Ontario portfolio.

This position is a full-time opportunity for a highly motivated individual who can work independently or within a team.

• Prepare a unit for re-renting: cabinet hardware adjustments, replace bathroom ceiling fans, replace light fixtures, etc.
• Minor plumbing
• Outside maintenance work, e.g., install/re-level patio stone walkways, gardening, minor landscaping
• Dry wall patching and installation including taping, mudding and sanding to prepare walls for painting
• Painting – Interior and Exterior
• Fence, deck, gate, railings, stairs repairs and construction
• Build walls and partitions
• Assemble furniture, desks, credenza, chairs, etc.
• Install, clean, repair eaves troughs, down spouts
• Troubleshoot leaks, rattles, whines, hums, and other noises to determine source and problem
• Basic heating and cooling system maintenance and repair
• Perform general clean up of facilities.

• Strong customer skills
• Fluent in English
• Time management is a must
• Able to complete paperwork neatly and accurately
• Dependable

Must have own tools and vehicle (truck or trailer preferable) to be eligible for this opportunity.

This position is required to be available for on-call duties on a rotating basis with other employees.

We offer a salary position at a competitive wage and a benefit package.

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm.

Based out of our London office.

$25.00 to $28.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
