In this permanent, full-time role, you'll report to the Program Manager. You'll engage with adults age 16+, enabling them to access homes, schools, and community resources. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work and 2-3 years of experience with the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community, addressing housing concerns and benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual support services to diverse clients
• Advocate for accessibility and community sensitivity
• Assist clients in navigating social and family services
• Promote awareness of Deaf culture and needs
• Manage multiple responsibilities in a pressurized environment
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Social Work or equivalent
• Minimum 2-3 years in counselling or case management
• Knowledge of landlord-tenant and income support issues
• Proficiency in ASL or willingness to learn
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
