As part of a crucial project funded by the Building Safer Communities Fund, you will implement restorative approaches in educational settings, helping youth navigate conflicts productively. This full-time role entails collaborating with various stakeholders, including students, parents, and staff, to enhance support systems against gang violence. Regular travel throughout London will be a part of your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Facilitate workshops and circle conferencing for conflict resolution
• Train school staff in restorative practices and community involvement
• Liaise with community partners for enhanced support services
• Maintain safety protocols during all interactions
• Collect data for program assessment and improvement
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 1-3 years working with youth in relevant fields
• First Aid/CPR Level C certification required
• Valid G class Driver's License and reliable transportation
• Bilingual candidates are an asset
