Landlord Liaison Experienced at SLCS

SLCS is hiring an experienced Landlord Liaison for Project Home on a 6-month full-time contract. Work directly with landlords and assist in creating supportive housing conditions.

In this role, you will focus on conflict resolution and tenant advocacy to ensure safe housing for youth, adults, and families. Your tasks will involve not only mediating conflicts but also educating landlords on their responsibilities and the importance of diverse tenant populations. You’ll collaborate with your team to manage housing-related challenges effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Mediate disputes between landlords and tenants effectively

• Perform move-in/out inspections to assess unit readiness

• Advocate for tenants’ rights in landlord discussions

• Maintain ongoing statistical reports regarding housing trends

• Educate landlords about the importance of inclusivity

Requirements:

• At least 2 years’ experience with marginalized populations

• Deep understanding of the Residential Tenancy Act

• Relevant education or experience in social services

• Must possess a valid G Class Driver’s License

• Certification in First Aid/CPR is a must
