Coordinator -Risk Violence

Join Victim Services of Waterloo Region as a Coordinator focused on high-risk individuals facing Intimate Partner Violence. This full-time, hands-on role involves extensive collaboration with police and community partners.

In this position, you will manage the Mobile Tracking System (MTS) Program, ensuring trauma-informed, client-centered support for individuals in crisis. You should possess at least three years of crisis intervention experience and a relevant post-secondary degree. Your primary tasks will include conducting comprehensive risk assessments and creating individualized service plans, while also providing critical assistance during high-risk situations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the Mobile Tracking System Program

• Offer crisis intervention and emotional support for clients

• Perform validated risk assessments to determine eligibility

• Implement personalized service plans with community referrals

• Collaborate in multidisciplinary case conferences for effective client support

Requirements:

• Degree in Social Work or a related human service field

• 3+ years of experience in crisis intervention

• Expertise in trauma-informed support methodologies

• Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills

• Familiarity with community resources for effective referrals
