Senior Software Engineer – Cloud & Microservices (.NET & Python

Our client’s platform runs on the Microsoft Azure cloud and follows a microservices architecture. They run a mix of open source, vendor-licensed, and internally developed tools to perform functions such as provisioning, software deployment, logging, and monitoring.

You’ll learn these tools and have opportunities to improve them. The team is collaborative; they work closely with the development teams and support them to deliver the best results for the organization. The goal is to balance the best solution with the need to get things done for each engineering challenge we face.

We’re looking for a candidate who can navigate cross-team collaboration and help drive improvements in core processes to support smoother product releases.

• Proficiency in Python and .NET Core.
• Proficiency in Cloud (ideally Azure, but AWS or GCP)
• Event Hubs, Service Bus, or similar.
• Subscriptions, Resource Groups
• RBAC, Managed Identities, SPNs, App Registrations
• Strong background in Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git Hub Actions or similar.
• Familiarity with cloud automation, especially infrastructure automation. Ideally, experience with Infrastructure as Code using Bicep or similar tools (e.g., ARM templates, Terraform, or Pulumi).
• Hands‑on experience with Docker.
• Familiarity with relational and non‑relational databases e.g. Azure SQL, Mongo
  
  DB, SQL, and Cosmos DB.
• Comfortable exploring Infrastructure as Code (IAC), Developer Experience (DX), UI, and architecture as necessary.
• Familiarity with widely used Azure resources, including ASB/Event Hub, AKS/ACA (desirable), Storage Account.
