At CARFAX, we believe in the power of teamwork and value in-person interactions so that we can collaborate and thrive together. This position will require 2 days per week in our London,ON office subject to change with future business needs.

• Working in a dynamic team environment using Agile practices
• Writing high-performing, robust code to guarantee fast and accurate delivery of new system features on high-visibility projects
• Apply best practices for architecture, security, and performance of complex systems primarily in Typescript.
• Participating in design decisions, including technology research and prototyping
• Utilizing test driven development and continuous integration methods
• Developing thorough testing and monitoring approaches
• Getting exposed to a broad range of technologies to continually improve your skills
• Collaborating closely with other engineers, architects, support teams, and business stakeholders
• Sharing your knowledge with other team members and across the organization via guilds and inter-team coordination

• Experience with Type Script, Node.js, JavaScript, HTML5 and CSS

• Object Oriented experience with languages such as Java, Kotlin, Golang, Python OR C#. We primarily use Type Script and JVM languages.
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and Big Data is an advantage.
• Knowledge with client/server architecture and building web services using REST or GraphQL

  SQL databases system such as MySQL, Mongo, Dynamo
  
  DB OR Elasticsearch.
• Experienced with developing in AWS cloud environment
• Experienced with full SDLC development including design, building, testing, deployment, upgrade and support.
• Ability to provide leadership and mentor engineers through complicated technical challenges.
• Ability to work and collaborate effectively in a team environment as well as independently.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is CAD $92,600 to $136,000 annually. Final base salary will be determined based on geographical location, experience, and qualifications.
