In this senior-level position within Carta’s Design System team, you’ll architect and evolve cutting-edge UI infrastructure. You will lead vital initiatives in AI-driven interfaces, ensuring that our design system, Ink, delivers seamless developer experiences. Working closely with engineers and designers, you’ll bridge the gap between visual design and code, championing quality and performance across products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect and maintain the Ink component library

• Drive R&D for AI-optimized design systems

• Convert Figma designs into performant UI code

• Enhance frontend quality and developer velocity

• Mentor engineers and advocate for design system adoption

Requirements:

• 7+ years experience in frontend engineering

• Strong React and CSS skills with a focus on design systems

• AI development experience preferred
