Application Developer - Advanced Android at Ford

Location: Southwestern Ontario

In this position at Ford, you will apply your Android development expertise to design and implement a dynamic user interface for our Intelligent Voice Assistant. This role demands at least four years' experience with in-depth knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK, particularly Jetpack Compose. Collaboration with various teams will be crucial in crafting a seamless driver experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Craft UI designs for the Intelligent Voice Assistant

• Utilize Rive for interactive animations in the app

• Ensure code quality with MVVM or MVI patterns

• Guarantee automotive performance standards for the interface

• Collaborate with designers and engineers for integration

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years Android development experience

• At least 2 years with Jetpack Compose

• Proficient in MVVM and Clean Architecture methodologies

• Skilled in RESTful APIs and data streaming

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering
