At Fidus, headquartered in Ottawa, you will play a pivotal role in designing complex embedded software systems. Bring your expertise in BSP-level software development, Linux, RTOS, and bare-metal environments, while leading project teams. You will ensure high-quality code and set technical direction on significant projects, collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead embedded software development for communication and video systems

• Develop and maintain BSP-level software using Linux and RTOS

• Implement device drivers and manage kernel configurations

• Integrate FPGA SoCs with existing hardware systems

• Mentor project teams to deliver high-quality software

Requirements:

• Minimum 8 years in BSP-level software development

• 2 years in a technical leadership role

• Expertise in embedded Linux, Yocto, and Peta Linux

• Proficient in C, C++, and assembly programming

• Strong debugging skills and HW/SW/FPGA integration
