Position: Software Development Leader at Google
Location: Southwestern Ontario

Join Google as a Software Development Leader and drive innovative solutions in AI and large-scale systems. This role is available in San Jose, CA, or Waterloo, ON.

In this position, Google requires a seasoned engineer with at least five years of software development and leadership experience. You will engage in testing, maintaining, and launching software products while contributing to exciting projects within the XR DevX Infra team. Your expertise in code review and design will shape superior products for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and test system development code

• Participate and lead design reviews to ensure technology alignment

• Provide constructive feedback on development code

• Triage and resolve system issues for optimal performance

• Update documentation based on user feedback and product updates

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required

• 5 years of experience with programming languages

• 3 years of software testing and maintenance experience

• Familiarity with large-scale systems or compute technologies

• 1 year of technical leadership experience preferred
