Location: Southwestern Ontario
Join Ford’s Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design team as an Automation Test Developer. This hybrid position focuses on building and executing automation testing for electric vehicle features.
The successful candidate will develop and maintain automated test scripts using Python. You'll analyze test execution results, perform bug fixes, and engage in code reviews, enhancing collaboration across development teams. Required experience includes at least three years in object-oriented design and CI/CD systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create and refine automated test scripts in Python
• Execute tests, analyze results, and validate fixes
• Collaborate with developers to understand testing requirements
• Participate in code reviews to improve quality
• Design hardware solutions for workflow automation
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with CI/CD systems
• Experience in object-oriented programming and algorithms
• Familiarity with embedded systems or microcontrollers
• Motivated and resourceful self-starter
